Crafting Storyworlds: A New Approach to World-Building

While there are countless excellent guides to creating fantastic new worlds with realistic geography and interesting cultures, this presentation takes a more “literary” approach to the subject. Crafting a storyworld focuses on the characters and conflicts of the world – that is, its story -- and allows those things to influence and permeate the rest of the world. Creating a storyworld means that no matter where the players or audience explore, there will always be an exciting story right around the corner.
