FFXIV: the ancient mythology of the unsundered world.

Final Fantasy XIV's Endwalker expansion dwelled further into the origins of the Ascians, offering us a glimpse into the past—the Unsundered World. In this world lost to time, we can find similarities with another tale from the real world, the mythology of ancient Greece. From environments and motifs to familiar names, the influence of the Greek epics are everywhere to be found. In this program we'll be taking a deeper dive into the Ascians, their seats in the Convocation of Fourteen, as well as their respective, human names. We'll also go over possible environmental inspirations, enemies, and the Pandaemonium raid series.
