A ruined temple devoted to a long-dead god recently rediscovered, sunk into the snow and ice of the Elephas Pass. The pass is the highest, most treacherous road through the remote Eidolon Chain, a mysterious mountain range that rarely gives up its dead. Those fortunate few who brave its slopes and make it out alive bring home stories of strange lights and whispers in the dark.

When the arcane archaeological expedition sent to study the temple's secrets goes missing, the sponsoring university must send a rescue team to retrieve them. As soon as the team arrives at the site, the cause of the archaeologists' disappearance is immediately apparent: a powerful enchantment holds the archeologists' base camp in thrall. Nightmares lurk among the temple's crumbling pillars and dreams made real threaten to ensnare any who dare enter its halls.

Will the rescue team manage to save the researchers from the clutches of an ancient power, or will they too fall to to the enchantment's soporific siren song?
