Is your Big Bad Evil Guy going to have a monologue? Are you the maid of honor at a wedding? Do you need to rouse your followers to cancel the apocalypse? From John Sheridan to Gordon Gecko, the fictional world is full of great speeches. Want to make your own?

The lecture gives an introduction into preparing a speech. We’ll study a few examples from movies and dissect what makes an impactful and memorable speech. You'll get the basics of classical rhetoric and some modern applications.

Lecturer is a chaplain with 13 years of experience in public speaking. He has lectured about speechwriting in University of Eastern Finland and mentored sermon-writers for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.
