The lecture goes through the fundamentals of color theory, discussing mostly how to apply them when painting 32 mm scale wargaming models, but also touching on larger scales and more advanced concepts. Special attention is paid on the most common issues that beginners may have when painting wargaming miniatures, namely, how to make your miniatures “pop” on the battlefield. The lecture also goes into the inherent conflicts that the application of color theory may lead to, as it concludes with topics intended for more seasoned painters. This lecture serves as an introduction to the content in the workshop "Color Theory: Color Planning for Miniatures".
