Come and learn how to create color schemes for your painting projects! This workshop teaches you how to create a color scheme for your wargaming or role-playing miniatures, including discussion about display painting topics. The concepts discussed revolve around color theory, specifically, the different types of contrast and color harmonies typically utilized in miniature painting. Miniature painting skills are not necessarily required during the workshop, as the exercise will be completed on a flat paper surface. The workshop is a follow-up to the lecture "Color Theory for Miniature Painting" so prior knowledge of its contents will be valuable in getting the most out of the workshop. Some exercise materials will be provided by the workshop organizers but participants may wish to bring their own tools, such as color pencils, crayons, color markers, water colors, or acrylic paints.
