Set in a distant star system called Tarapor, Charred Axle is a science fiction, miniature table top game that allows players to take control of armed vehicles, known as ‘Rigs’, to be pitted against each other in a contest of exciting arena combat.
During the demos players will use ready made Rigs to learn the simple rules of how to play, but most importantly how to wreck their opponent's and leave victorious. Charred Axle was designed to be friendly for beginners to the scene but also varied enough to excite the most veteran tabletop players, so everyone is welcome.
Players must have their wits about them for various threats, known as ‘Phenomena’, can occur throughout the game, such as carnivorous creatures and plants, massive lightning storms and even cybernetically enhanced creatures. Whether the game takes place on a planet, a moon, or an asteroid, something is bound to happen that will change the pace of the game.
