For most of the year 2137, things on Sevastopol space station have been going downhill. At the start of the year, it was thriving under the Seegson corporation. In February, funding was pulled from it´s main function, Gemini Exoplanet Solutions. Things got quiet pretty fast. In October, news came out that the whole station is being decommissioned. Now, everyone sits waiting for the next transport out of here. They have been fewer and fewer. A sense of inevitable deteriorarion is starting to get a hold of the station. In this scenario, the players take on the roles of a team of workers in engineering as the situation on the station starts looking really bad.

This scenario is a homebrew prelude for the video game Alien: Isolation. Having played Alien: Isolation is not necessary for this scenario. The scenario may, however, contain minor spoilers about Alien: Isolation. Some alterations to the canonic plot or characters may also be possible.

No previous experience of Alien RPG is necessary. The rules are light and easy to learn and the Gamemother will be there to guide you through the procedures. Note that Alien RPG is a game of space horror, where character deaths may be more likely than in many other RPG:s. Preludes I and II are different scenarios, played with different characters and it is perfectly possible to take part in both.
