Sam may have known what to do with his taters, but your average home cook was surely a bit lost with all the exiting new ingredients made available by increased trade routes to the americas and the far east. In this presentation I will walk you through a selection of early recipes utilizing exotic new ingredients like pumpkin and potatoes, and if course I will share with you the practical instructions so that you too can delight in trying something new. I bet I can get you to see the humble potato in a while new light.
