The Kids Are Not Alright is a larp about troubled children. One half of the players play kids who communicate mainly by drawing disturbed images and the other half child psychologists who try to understand them. The game proceeds in a very structured manner and is beginner-friendly. The game leans heavily on horror movies (eg. Sixth Sense) but includes also themes of social realism and psychological realism. All kinds of nasty things that happen to kids in real life and in fantasy may be introduced.
