For two centuries, StapleForge Unlimited has valiantly stood the test of time — but the end is drawing near.
In a galaxy where everything is handled digitally, employees work remotely, and suits and pencil skirts have been replaced by more expressive fashion choices, the great-grandson of the company’s founder, John Brasswick, fears that the legendary tale of StapleForge is drawing to a close.
At StapleForge, tradition has always been the cornerstone. But when the only remaining orders for paperclips come from niche jewelry designers making ironic nostalgia earrings, it’s time to act.
At the request of her aging father, Dr. Adelaide Brasswick, Vice President of Strategic Relevance, has summoned a mandatory company meeting with one clear goal:
To make the company’s traditional products fashionable and relevant again — by any means necessary.
Can a new world be forced to kneel in front of tradition - or is it time for tradition to fade away? Is evolution possible for the tradition-bound executive board.
Gameplay The game consists of a single meeting, during which characters are divided into teams. Each team’s goal is to engage in a brainstorming session to generate creative, bold, and preferably not entirely ridiculous ideas on how to make classic office supplies fashionable and relevant again. StapleForge Limited has traditionally rewarded its best workers and this fine tradition will continue in this meeting. These rewards will be handed to the best participants:
In-Game Awards (Presented by Brasswick HR™ or the CEO Themself):
Most Marketable Clip For the team that managed to rebrand a paperclip as the next galactic must-have.
The Synergy Star For the team that displayed the most “collaborative buzzword compliance.”
Best Performance Under Meaningless Pressure For keeping a straight face while pitching “Binder Drones for Home Defense.”
The Brasswick Legacy Prize Awarded to the product idea that most honors the company’s rich and dusty heritage. (Even if it's terrible.)
The Internal Threat Award Secretly handed to the rebel who caused the most subtle disruption without being discovered. Yes, there are rebels. Who doesn't love rebels?
The game will last for three hours, with a short break in the middle.
