Turnip28 on miniatyyripeli oudosta maailmasta, jossa historiallisista figuista konvertoidut pienet armeijat ottavat yhteen. Kaikki on surkeaa ja huonoa, niin myös joukkosi. Pelaajat itkevät ja hurraavat kun mielipuoliset talonpojat potkivat toisiaan kuolleeksi mudassa. Tässä pelissä ei ole sankareita.

The world has fallen into decay since the time of Napoleon. Weird root vegetables cover the earth, suffocating all other plantlife. Humanity is hanging by a thread and they pay the price with madness and mutation. Odd cults devoted to the Root command armies, which are but a parody of times gone by. Turnip28 is a miniature game of a weird world where small armies of converted historical minis wage batlle. Everything is wretched and miserable, including your troops. Players will weep and cheer as deranged peasants kick each other to death in the mud. There are no heroes to be found.
