Libellus de Arte Coquinaria might not sound very exciting, but I promise you it is. It's the earliest written glimpse we have into the art of cooking in Scandinavia. In this lecture I will introduce participants to the text, to the cooking culture, and most importantly, how you can prepare a genuine medieval Scandinavian meal.
