Legendan mukaan Blackmoren linna ilmestyy Ketun vuonna ja sen voi saavuttaa ylittämällä sateenkaarisillan. Nyt tuo hetki on käsillä ja sankareille on avautunut mahdollisuus selvittää linnan salaisuudet ja ratkaista kadonneen bardin arvoitus. Rainbow yhtyeen kolmen ensimmäisen levyn pohjalta ja inspiraationa tehty perinteinen luolastoseikkailu. 70-luvun heavy ja roolipelit linkittyvät toisiinsa kummankin ollessaan inspiraationa toisilleen.
