We are Ukrainian larpers.
We played, organized conventions, crafted swords and costumes, and created a beautiful friendly community together. But on February 24th our magic circle was shattered by the bombs.
Now some of us are fighting on the frontlines. Others are volunteering, gathering aid and delivering it across the continent, and sewing camouflage nets. The things we learned on larps helped us adapt and overcome. And what is most important is that our friends, the community, came together and helped each other in the darkest of times.
Come to this lecture to hear our stories - about the larps we’ve made before, about the reality we’re dealing with right now, and about our friends who are no longer with us.
