Do you ever get the feeling during combat that people are just rolling the dice and waiting for the combat to end? Does it feel like your gaming group isn't very engaged during the sessions? Do the monsters in Monster Manual feel more like bags of stats rather than real creatures?
During this interactive presentation I will go though the methods which have helped me the most in turning D&D into an interesting, engaging and exciting adventure. Some of them are fully system agnostic, some are very D&D 5e specific, and the rest are designed for D&D, but the idea is transferrable to most systems.
