Tässä pelissä tutustutaan Fantasy Flight Gamesin Edge of the Empire -roolipeliin Beginner Game -pakkaukseen kuuluvan Pako Mos Shuutasta -seikkailun myötä. Pelissä opetellaan pelijärjestelmän säännöt pelaamisen yhteydessä, joten peli soveltuu sekä pelaajille, jotka haluavat ensikosketuksen Edge of the Empire -pelijärjestelmään että ylipäänsä roolipelejä ensimmäistä kertaa kokeilevalle.
Edge of the Empire sijoittuu galaksin laitamille Tähtien sota -universumissa. Elokuvista tutut imperiumin ja kapinallisten kamppailut jäävät taka-alalle, sillä Ulkokehän karu maailma tarjoaa hahmoille aivan muuta ajateltavaa. Pelaajat ovat palkkionmetsästäjiä, salakuljettajia ja muita Ulkokehän asukkeja, jotka yrittävät selvitä (ja kenties rikastua) Ulkokehän karuissa ryönän ja ryökäleiden tyyssijoissa.
Pako Mos Shuutasta -seikkailussa pelaajat ovat jääneet velkaa Teemo the Huttille. Koska elämä Huttien palveluksessa on kaikkea muuta kuin mukavaa, sankarimme ovat päättäneet suorittaa pakosuunnitelmansa. Saavatko he jätettyä Tatooinen hiekat taakseen, vai ovatko he ikuisesti Teemo the Huttin vankeja?
Pelataan suomeksi, jos kaikki pelaajat puhuvat suomea, muussa tapauksessa englanniksi. Peli järjestetään kahdesti viikonlopun aikana, joten jos tämä aika ei sovi kalenteriisi, katso myös toinen mahdollinen peliaika.

This game is an introduction to the Edge of the Empire roleplaying game by Fantasy Flight Games through the adventure Escape from Mos Shuuta included in the Beginner Game box. It introduces the rules of the system during play so the game is suitable for those looking to experience the Edge of the Empire game system for the first time and to players who have never played roleplaying games before.
Edge of the Empire takes places on the outer edges of the Star Wars universe. The conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance we know from the movies is left behind, as life on the harsh Outer Rim keeps our characters busy. The players are bounty hunters, smugglers, and other characters trying to survive (and perhaps even get rich) in the hives of scum and villainy on the Outer Rim.
In the Escape from Mos Shuuta adventure, the players have through various ways ended indebted to Teemo the Hutt. As servitude to the Hutts can be described in many ways, none of which pleasant, our heroes have decided to enact their plan of escape. Will they succeed, leaving the sands of Tatooine behind them, or are they forever doomed to do the bidding of the Hutts?
The game will be played in English, unless all players speak Finnish. The game will be organized twice during the weekend, so if this time slot does not fit your calendar, check the other available time slot.
