Post-apocalypse in Slow Motion

Is the destruction of the world as we know it a good thing, or a bad thing? Drawing from real world history and a palette of genre works we will investigate the psychological and the philosophical drives that power post-ap in all its myriad forms. We will revisit fan favorites and try to get a deeper glimpse at the questions the genre tries to answer. And maybe feel a little bit better about the slow-motion apocalypse around us.
