The 2023 Chinese Worldcon in Chengdu

Compared with most Worldcons there were not very many attendees from outside the host country. As one of those who did go to Chengdu from elsewhere (and had absolutely nothing to do with the Hugos, so please don't ask) I intend to discuss what the Chinese organisers did well - and badly - and what the Convention was like for a stranger to China.
