Apply for the Photoshoot competition in beginner category for Tracon (2025)

With this form, you can apply to compete in the beginner category of the Tracon photoshoot competition. The competition is intended for photographers. Please read the rules before applying:Photoshoot.

Application is open until 3.8 at 23.59. If there are a large number of applicants, a preliminary round will be held where the judges will select the videos that will make it to the final and be shown in the competition. All applicants will be notified of the selections by 17.8 at the latest.

Competitor's own personal information. Participants' personal information is processed only by the cosplay manager and the Main Auditorium/Stage production team. The information is used d to communicate before and during the event. After the competition, the information is deleted. Name/nick you want to use publicly

This name is used in competitions, for example in the competition photo's information label or in Tracon's social media posts.

Birth year

There is no age limit for the competition, but please note that underage competitors must have a guardian's permission to participate in the competition. A minor model also needs permission from their guardian. By completing the application, you confirm that as a minor competitor, you have a guardian's permission to participate in the competition.

Tell us about your photo

How did you create the competition photo? Did you try any new techniques or shoot in a fun location? What were you looking for with the editing and in the colors ? Is there anything else you would like to say to the judges about your photo?

Competition photo + raw + CMYK

Upload your competition photo, original raw photo and if possible, cmyk photo to your preferred cloud server (e.g. Drive, Dropbox) and share the link here. Remember to open the settings so that our team can download the images via the link.

Original photo = Unedited photo of your competition photo, e.g. RAW. Name the file in the format name_original

CMYK photo = Photos that make it to the final will be exhibited at Tracon, where we will print and frame your competition photo. For this, we need a print-ready version of your photo so that the color are also correct in the printed version. If you are unable to do this yourself, please only submit the competition photo and the original photo. Name the cmyk photo in the format name_cmyk

Information label

We will publish the finalist photos on Tracon's website and in a framed version at the exhibition. Write a short introductory text for the viewer. In the text, you can, for example, tell what you want to express with the photo, how and why the photo was taken.
