"Wasteland Wear & Tear – How to create your own post-apocalyptic outfit" is a workshop where you – like the name states – will craft your own piece of post-apocalyptic clothing. We will provide both assistance and some materials for you to use to make yourself a garment in true post-apo fashion – meaning you can make it look as ragged and worn out as you possibly can, plus add some cool details to make it look badass. Materials include fabric scraps, acrylic & fabric paint and different trinkets like bottle caps, soda tabs and such.
If you already own The Perfect Piece of Clothing that you've been meaning to modify, you can bring it along to finally create That Awesome Post-Apo Something or Other – but we will also provide random sized shirts etc. to choose from. As the paint won't dry instantly, when the clothes are done we will hang them up to dry. Be prepared to pick them up later during the con!
This will be a walk-in workshop, so you can drop by for a moment to craft something small, or spend a longer while perfecting your garment.
