Dungeons & Dragons: How Did We Get Here?

Tabletop RPGs have hit a new plateau with the 5th edition of D&D, interesting web shows and Baldur's Gate 3. However, to people's surprise, the hobby has come from the humble beginnings of not yet existing. Let's have a look at how a group of young lads in the '70's came with the idea of swords and spells going into dungeons, and how that has evolved to today.
